It will develop knowledge of the immunological and physiological mechanisms of allergic skin conditions and promote competence and practical skills in their recognition and management. The course is madeup of 2 days of face to face teaching, which is complemented by 4 weeks of online learning.

    The School of Professional Development presents a diverse range of intensive short courses for professionals working in science, technology, medicine and management

    These courses, given by leading authorities both from within and outside the College, provide the most up-to-date developments in specific areas of interest. According to the nature of the topic some courses are given once only while others are repeated every year. Course contents are reviewed regularly and new courses are introduced frequently.

    Most courses are of 3 or 5 days duration although some continue for a number of weeks and others are designed on a modular basis, extending over several months. The majority of courses are taught at the South Kensington (Central London) campus. Most are open to all on a fee paying basis.
