What is an Apprenticeship?
Apprenticeships are on-the-job training leading to nationally recognised qualifications, developed by the industry itself. The National Apprenticeship Service supports, funds and co-ordinates the delivery of Apprenticeships throughout England.
How long does it take?
The time required to complete an Apprenticeship depends on the existing skills of the apprentice, the qualification and industry sector in question. In most cases, Apprenticeships take between one and three years to complete.
