Originally formed in 1996 to provide Contracting and Procurement training on an outsourced basis to Shell Group companies, CP Training Consortium has since 2000 significantly expanded their client base and now provides training for organisations from a wide range of industrial sectors, such as telecommunications, cement and utilities, as well as a much broader cross section of the oil and gas sector. The Sussex-based company provides a range of training courses including inventory management, supply chain, contracting and procurement, logistic training, material management, procurement training, and waste management training.
The faculty of trainers at CP Training Consortium is drawn from a wide network of training providers and independent training consultants. All trainers have had extensive applied experience in their subjects as well as long experience as trainers. Many of them have strong links to academia and possess formal teaching qualifications.
Training courses can be taken as stand-alone programmes, or in other cases to complement the client's own training programme. The range of subjects taught has broadened to include specialist topics from many disciplines that effect most branches of industry, business and commerce, and cover the following areas:
CP Training Consortium offers a large number of courses, workshops and seminars as public courses at venues throughout the UK.
