Campaign for Learning and Learning at Work Day
Findcourses.co.uk is working in partnership with Campaign for Learning to help raise the awareness of Learning at Work Day and through our matchmaking service to help put HR Managers, Learning & Development Coordinators and Workplaces in contact with relevant training providers that are both looking to take part in the day.
The Campaign for Learning (CfL) is working for a society where learning is at the heart of social inclusion. Research shows that lifelong learners are more likely to be happier, healthier, have better jobs, contribute more to society and live longer and more fulfilled lives.
Learning in the Workplace - National Learning at Work Day
National Learning at Work Day is the biggest celebration of learning and development in and through the workplace. Thousands of organisations take part each year and put on special events and activities, as the workplace is an ideal place to learn. Learning at Work Day offers organisations and individuals the perfect opportunity to learn as part of a national campaign, with the support of planning guides, activity ideas, promotional materials and special offers.
Learning at Work (LAW) Day has been taking place annually since 1999 and is part of Adult Learners' Week, which is an awareness campaign that promotes and supports workplace learning events across the country. It aims to draw attention to the importance of workplace learning and skills. It encourages people to offer learning to all employees especially to those that may not participate in current learning opportunities.
Each year thousands of organisations take part including large corporations, SMEs, public sector organisations and government departments - you too can organise a LAW Day event for your company!
