Virtual College's Healthcare e-Academy operates as a community of practice delivering online training to over 30 Trusts with over 91,000 learners nationally. The e-Academy is driven by our members’ training needs, with e-learning courses developed in collaboration with professionals across the sector.

Members of the Healthcare e-Academy are primarily drawn from the NHS and include the Acute, Primary Care, Mental Health and Social Care sectors. By working in partnership we offer a cost effective, member driven way of creating e-learning resources specifically for use in this specialist sector.

The e-Academy provides an opportunity to complement your traditional face to face delivery, by providing access to an excellent range of e-learning resources via a Virtual Learning Environment.

Virtual College's modules are mapped to the requirements set out in the London Passport, and our Management of Urinary Catheterisation in Adults has recently received RCN accreditation.

Virtual College is currently offering a Lean Healthcare Overview free of charge to all staff in NHS Trusts in the UK. This e-learning course shows how Lean practices from manufacturing can be applied successfully in primary and secondary care, as well as across wider health and social care communities.
