Business & Professional English Training Day

On Saturday 20 March 2010 International House London hosts a Business and Professional English Training Day, featuring an introduction to legal English and the fundamentals of finance for English language teachers.

The day covers the following areas:

LEGAL ENGLISH

• An introduction to legal English concepts, such as how Anglo-American law differs from civil law in the rest of the world.

• Designing a legal English course

• Key skills for legal English teachers

FINANCIAL ENGLISH

• Fundamental concepts in Finance for ELT teachers

• CFOs and Fund Managers: a window on their world

• Practical and transferable activities for the trainer

How to book

The Training Day on 20 March 2010 costs £150, or £100 for BEUK members. The course cost includes refreshments and lunch. Places are limited so early booking is advised.
