Sara, a Deputy Year Leader at a local secondary school, said 'yes' to a new career with Souters
For 10 years, Sara had enjoyed a successful career as a Deputy Year Leader at a successful secondary school in the UK. Having significant seniority in her role, she was responsible for over 300 students and was the first point of 
contact for student and parent enquiries.
No longer needing the coveted school holidays which come with a position in education, Sara decided that it was time
for a change. All in all, the PA/Secretary Diploma course at Souters provided Sara with the perfect opportunity to transition into a new career where growth is always possible.
Despite 30 years of experience in an administrative environment, today’s competitive job market required fresh, new skills. The Souters PA/Secretary Diploma not only gave Sara the opportunity to revise, improve and build new skills, but it gave her the assurance that she could succeed outside of an educational environment. After just one Souters class, Sara was able to identify her areas for improvement and begin refining her skills.
After the five days course, Sara is an expert with excel and uses the 4 point plan and concise, modern speak when writing professional letters, documents and emails. More so, her skills have been pushed far beyond the boundaries of her current position. She has even passed on knowledge to her immediate colleagues!
With the skills learnt with Souters, Sara is confident in her ability to secure a job as a Personal Assistant. In the future, she hopes to progress towards an Executive Assistant and to possibly fulfill a training role and highly recommends Souters courses to others wishing to do the same!
