IT, Software, Web & Telecoms Higher Apprenticeship: Level 4
As an IT professional, you will be in an organisation that has technology at its heart. The Higher Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web & Telecoms incorporates two Level 4 qualifications. It provides you with a comprehensive understanding of IT systems and principles, and practical experience of the workplace, including:
- Emerging technologies
- E-business operations
- Managing budgets
- Managing information technology
- Project management
- Systems development
- Effective communication in business
You’ll use your skills to tackle business activities that could include overseeing the development of computer systems to meet clients’ needs, researching, designing and writing new software programmes, or assessing risks to systems and developing and designing security.
On completion of the Higher Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web & Telecoms, you could progress to senior or supervisory positions.
