Open Courses
Specifically designed from the director’s viewpoint, the IoD open courses cover a wide spectrum of roles, responsibilities and leadership skills that are essential to keep abreast of today’s evolving business landscape.
Certificate in Company Direction
Providing you with fresh insight into the key areas of governance, leadership, finance and strategy, the Certificate will equip you with the knowledge and skills to enhance your performance in the board. This is the first step toward the Chartered Director qualification.
The Certificate in Company Direction is made up of 4 modules:
- Role of the Director and the Board
- Finance for Non-Finance Directors
- Leadership for Directors
- Strategy for Directors
Diploma in Company Direction
This program will make you put into practice your knowledge and leadership skills through a dynamic boardroom scenario that evolves over three days. It is also the second step toward the Chartered Director qualification.
Chartered Director
Assigned under Royal Charter, the Chartered Director qualification consolidates your knowledge, skills and experience, enabling you to champion standards of good governance and best practice for your board.
In-Company Training
Led by experienced directors, IoD training services include classroom sessions, real-world case discussions, small group exercises, evaluation and coaching. As well as in-company versions of our open courses which can be delivered internationally.
