UAL Level 3 Diploma/Extended Diploma in Music

5 GCSEs grade 9-4 (grade A*- C) preferably including both English & maths or a relevant Level 2 qualification at merit or above. You will be invited for an interview and audition, plus prior experience of playing an instrument is desirable.

This course is designed with the “360 degree” approach which means that you will be developing yourself in several different fields to become a rounded professional, proficient enough to undertake roles in areas such as music performance, production, song writing or business. This approach is what will make you an employable musician in today’s challenging industry.

Students may gain employment in the music industry in a number of roles, as an aspiring musician, a music technologist, sound engineer, crew or composer/producer.

Pearson BTEC Level 5 HND Diploma course or degree at college or university. The majority of our students go to the best universities in the country for music and music technology including Leeds College of Music and Leeds Beckett University. We also have a collaboration agreement with University of West London and Bucks New University for those who want to stay local.
