First Aid at Work
First Aid at Work - 1-day course by HSS Training
This First Aid training course involves theoretical and practical elements, enabling participants to successfully address emergency situations and administer CPR procedures. The course will provide the essential skills, knowledge and confidence to administer first aid including a range of specific injuries and illness, from obstructed airways to bleedings, allergies and major illnesses.
It is recommended that participants resit this training programme annually. To retain their existing First Aid at Work Certification, candidates are required to attend a 2 day re-certification course every three years.
Course Aims
Who should attend?
This course is suitable for anyone involved in a workplace, whether employer or employee who are required to provide First Aid in accordance with Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
Certification
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a First Aid at Work certificate valid for three years.
