PASMA Towers on Stairs - Accredited course for mobile access tower users
This PASMA Towers on Stairs course is designed for companies with qualified mobile access tower operators looking to develop staff's specific set of skills necessary to safely erect, disassemble and move towers on stairs.
Delivered nationwide via HSS Training's broad network of Training Centres, as well as in-house, the programme builds on existing working at height knowledge in terms of regulations, inspections and practical assembly & altering practice. The ultimate goal is to enable participants to prevent injuries to themselves and those around them by tackling a range of key topics including:
- Current regulations & standards for working with access towers
- Product standards & the PASMA Code of Practice
- Fall protection & inspection of completed towers
- Inspection records
- Primary hazards related to placing towers on stairs
Completion of the course will result in achievement of a PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers' and Manufacturers' Association) Certificate and ID Card.
