Training Course Content

Introduction

There have been significant technological advances in prosthetic design within the last 30 years, which have provided improved clinical outcomes for users but also resulted in higher costs. In this webinar potential further developments in the field of lower limb prosthetics over the coming years will be considered together with discussion around associated product and clinical costs. How these prosthetic costs impact on the pleading of an amputation claim will be examined and if a claim can be ‘future proofed’ to allow access to future developments.

This webinar will be jointly delivered by Peter Durkin, prosthetist and founder of Steps Prosthetics, and Richard Biggs, Partner at Irwin Mitchell.
