Training Course Content

Introduction

Recent changes to the CQS standard brought about a new onsite assessment regime which accredited firms will be subject to as part of demonstrating their compliance with the CQS Scheme Rules.

The purpose of this e-learning module is:

  • To understand the changes to the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) regime
  • To get to know the Core Practice Management Standard (CPMS)

An invaluable support to fee earners will be for support staff to be aware of the requirements of the Core Practice Management Standard so they can play their part in assisting with compliance with the CQS standard.

This short e-learning programme will ensure that support staff are up to speed with the requirements of the CQS Scheme and how they can help the firm meet their obligations.

What You Will Learn

With interactive learning activities, knowledge checks and key reminder messages, the programme covers the following sections:

  • CQS - Why the Changes
  • CQS - What are the Changes
  • The Assessment Detail and Potential Outcomes
  • Demonstrating Compliance
  • Core Practice Management Standard
  • The Law Society Conveyancing Protocol (2019)

You can take each section at your own pace, picking up where you left off and are able to see your progress throughout.

The programme concludes with an assessment. Your score will be recorded and 'super-user' reporting functionality for the organisation as a whole is available in the MBL learning platform.
