It is estimated that 1 in 4 pregnancies ends in miscarriage, yet UK law does not allow for any specific leave relating to miscarriage, and therefore employers need to think about the approach that they will take in supporting affected employees.
This short webinar, presented by employment law specialist Kathy Daniels, is ideal for HR professionals and line managers and will discuss the types of leave that might be taken in a miscarriage situation, the support that should be provided and what to include in a policy setting out support.
Kathy will also address situations when the employer does not know about the pregnancy, the duties on the employer when a woman is pregnant, leave for the woman and her partner, and how to manage a return to the workplace.
