Course description

It is increasingly common for organisations to restructure. This could be due to the need to downsize, or it could be because the organisation is growing. Whatever the reason, the employees need to be managed lawfully.

This webinar, presented by employment law specialist Kathy Daniels, will explore redundancy, variation of contract and TUPE - the three most common issues to be raised in a restructuring. Consideration will also be given to the issue of firing and rehiring, what is lawful and the associated pitfalls.

Kathy is a widely published author and lectures at postgraduate and undergraduate level in employment law and employee relations. She is a lay member of the Employment Tribunal, sitting in Birmingham. Be sure to tune in to benefit from her expertise in this area.
