Course description

Self-defence is one of the commonest defences run in the criminal courts, however, it is important to get it right as there have been many developments in the last few years.

Presented by hugely popular speaker Olwen Davies, this virtual classroom seminar takes a thoroughly practical look at the law in this area, with real-life examples. It is aimed at both the prosecution and defence, and it is a must for advocates on both sides as well as those advising clients, for example, at the police station. CPS charging lawyers will also find this live session helpful.

This live session highlights the practical issues and key caselaw involved in proving or rebutting the defence. It is also ideal as a refresher to sharpen your skills and will be updated whenever there are new cases or other developments you need to know about.
