Course description
This Korean Beginners 2 is a semi-intensive course designed for beginners who can read and write Hangeul and want to progress swiftly with their study of Korean. The course contains 20 contact hours for two weeks. The course covers basic grammar and essential vocabulary and the ability to communicate with confidence within a limited range of situations.
Method
The course is taught in English and Korean and includes covereage of the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing and a good balance between understanding the systems of Korean grammar and vocabulary, developing the skills of comprehending and producting Korean in speech and writing, guided practice in language usage and use and authentic communicative activities. Class size is limited to fifteen to allow intensive interactive practive with individual feedback and advise on progress.
Students are expected to undertake about 1-2 hours of self-study on top of contact hours.
Duration: 2 weeks, 20 hours, Monday 30th July - Saturday 11th August 2018
Mode of Attendance: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 18:00-20:00; Saturday 10:00-15:00 (including 1-hour lunch break)
