Hello, I'm looking for a debating skills course. Is that outdated terminology? Would that be more akin to influencing skills?

thanks for your question!

The term "debating skills" is not necessarily outdated, but it is more readily associated with academic environments - in the business world, it is definitely much more common to refer to "negotiation" or "influencing" skills, which are more or less considered to be the same thing. Or rather, influencing is one of the skills you need to negotiate effectively, alongside a range of others.
