Hi there,

thanks for your post.

In truth qualifications (i.e. accredited certificates such as those you get in Management, Leadership etc.) are not really that popular in the oil and gas industry. The only really widespread qualification for the industry is the NEBOSH certificate, but that has a specific focus on health & safey.

What is much more useful is to take a short course by a well known provider to prove you have the skills necessary to work in oil & gas. You may get a certificate at the end of the course, but that's not what employers are interested in: they just want to know that you are competent.

Try taking a look here: http://www.findcourses.co.uk/search/oil-and-gas-training-courses. These ccourses are all offered by solid providers and should be well accepted by potential employers. Go ahead and ask the training companies directly too - they are happy to help and give you some more insight from an "insider" perspective.

Best of luck!
