Refresher course for care workers - Forum

The last time I worked in care was 2002 - I am now looking for a refresher course. Do you have such a course?

thanks for posting.

I don't believe that refresher courses are particularly widespread in this industry, with the exception of the First Aid courses that are often required for work in a care setting. These expire after a certain number of years (usually 2), so if you have not recently renewed your certificate you will need to do so with an re-certification course.

Aside from this, if you are looking to refresh/update your skills, I would either suggest a qualification course to follow on from your previous training, or alternatively a series of short CPD courses in the particular areas that you think you may need help with.
