the range of courses in you can take in Health & Social Care is really very broad - we currently have over 900 titles to choose from!
As you will see, a lot are extensive qualification courses that are accredited under the UK's Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) and cover a variety of different sub-topics.
If your focus is on the managerial aspect, then you would be looking (depending on your level of experience) at a Level 4, 5 or 6 qualification in Health & Social Care Management. The great thing about these programmes is that usually you have a couple of mandatory units, but you can then choose from a wide range of optional units depending on your areas of interest. This means that you can choose to focus, for example, on Administrative Services or on Business Law within the Health & Social Care sector.
Even better, the QCF works with credits, this means that you can take single units and slowly build up your qualification over time - starting with Level 4 and then working your way upwards. You can usually even take different units with different providers, if you so wish.
Of course, there are also a range of short courses focusing on specific areas that you can choose from, which can also be highly valuable if you have less time and/or enough exeperience that you want to focus on one specific area.
