Differences between Learning and Development qualifications for trainers - Forum

I am trying to decide whether the CIPD Foundation for Learning & Development is applicable to my role. I am not in HR at all. I am a client trainer, training clients on our software programs. I am deciding on a qualification. I train both internally and externally on 6 different products. I have also be offered a NVQ Level 4 in the Coordination of Learning and Development qualification to complete instead. I am trying to decide which is the most beneficial to me. Do Employers see the CIPD with higher regard than the NVQ? I would appreciate some advise on this please? Which one would be more applicable and more beneficial to me in the long run in terms of career progression?
