This one day awareness course will provide an insight into the energy transition and the various routes that will contribute to a net zero future.
It is designed to provide an understanding of energy efficiency, its financial benefits and the role it can play in industry’s journey to net zero.
The course is delivered by an experienced energy professional as an in person, interactive workshop using presentations and worked examples. There will be plenty of opportunity to discuss your site with our energy experts as well as share knowledge with others from similar industries.

The course will cover:
- What is the energy transition, what do we mean by net zero and what are the key drivers?
- Understanding your current position - methodology overview for conducting baseline emissions assessments
- A review of the key technology solutions that will form part of the energy blend for medium to long terms decarbonization plans
- A review of practical methodologies for improving and optimizing industrial energy efficiency for short term decarbonization plans, covering, for example:
- Steam / boiler systems
- Compressed air systems
- Fugitive emissions and leak assessments
- Process control improvements
