5 Day Wallpapering Course

It would appear that Wallpapering is one of those skills that most people think that they can do and then once they start, immediately realise that there is more to it than they originally considered.

This 5 day course is ideal for those of you who cannot hang wallpaper at all but equally, it is excellent for those of you who can but would like to confirm your skills. Various aspects of paper hanging are covered on this 5 day course.

You will learn how to:

• Identify different patterns
• Mix adhesives
• Set and mark out, including levelling and plumbing (straight and aligned)
• Measure and cut to correct sizes
• Apply adhesive
• Folding techniques
• Hang and re-plumb internal and external corners
• Mark, cut and trim around obstacles
• Keep areas clean and tidy

To assist anyone who is looking to attempt paper hanging, this course will provide the learner with training on how to prepare an area, firstly to be lined and then to be papered.

We are confident that during this 5 day Wallpapering course, you will learn more than you imagined and will leave with the confidence and ability to start wallpapering projects immediately.

If you would like to achieve a qualification in Painting and Decorating, we offer a City & Guilds Painting & Decorating course.

Even if you have a background in Painting and Decorating, you may still find this 5 day accredited course very useful as it will enable you to develop your skills further so that you can undertake wallpapering work competently and professionally - we feel that this course is suitable whether you are learning for your own personal project or as part of your daily work.

This is a hands-on, practical Painting & Decorating course and you will be involved at every stage and will be participating throughout. It is therefore recommended you bring suitable clothing and for your own safety, steel capped footwear is essential.

All of our courses take place at our dedicated training centre in Dartford, Kent. The centre is easily accessible by road, being just 10 minutes from junction 1a on the M25. We are only a short walk from Dartford train station which is served by frequent trains taking 35 minutes from central London. For anyone travelling from further away, we have our own accommodation available at only £25 per night.

This is a 5 day course and the cost is £445.00 including vat. A deposit of £150.00 will secure a booking with the balance payable on the start date.
