This course is aimed at those looking for their first qualification in Sports Massage. It gives students a good, basic grounding in massage, with a small amount of sports-orientated training. It is OfQual registered, which means that it confirms to a nationally recognised syllabus. This also means that the qualification is well-recognised and widely accepted in the massage industry.
This is an "entry level" course, which means that students would normally need no prior experience or qualification. However, we deliver this as a fast-track course aimed at those who already either hold a qualification in Anatomy & Physiology (A&P) or who have enough knowledge of the subject to take the exam with no further tuition from us. It is therefore particularly suited for qualified Personal Trainers, Yoga instructors or other body therapists. It is also suited to students who have already completed their first year of a degree such as Osteopathy, Chiropractic or Physiotherapy, who therefore have completed a year of A&P and are looking for a qualification that they can use professionally while they study.
