Course description

The COVID-19 pandemic propelled esports into the mainstream, with celebrities and Premier League stars participating in competitive FIFA tournaments and F1 drivers regularly streaming iRacing on Twitch.

On an esports course, you'll be completing written tasks, as well as completing practical assignments such as presenting, coaching, live streaming, events management, designing an esports brand, and more! This is a great opportunity to upskill and progress your career into this new area of business, as well as many other digital careers.

If you don't already have five GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, but you want to progress to an esports qualification or apprenticeship, our Level 2 Esports course is a great place to start. This qualification will enable you to progress within the esports industry, the traditional sports industry, marketing, or many other technology-based careers.

The esports industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years, in both revenue and viewership. Even David Beckham is getting in on the act! This is an exciting time to get to know more about the organisation and structure of esports in the UK, and around the world, and how it compares to traditional sports.
