Applicants for a Level 1 programme will normally have:
- A strong interest in their chosen programme of study
- The commitment to work towards improving English and Maths as part of the programme
- The ability to discuss past experiences of education and future ambitions.

Alongside developing practical skills in motor vehicle, you will learn about health and safety, how to effectively work in teams on automotive projects and develop the attributes that will progress your career. You will learn about routine vehicle servicing, engine components and chassis systems (e.g., brakes, steering and suspension).
