Create & Make Handmade Felt

Play with colours, shapes and textures to make a decorative or abstract felt picture. Combining wool, yarns and fibers you learn the ancient technique of wet felting used by the Nomadic people of Central Asia. Our work will be inspired by the geometric motifs and animal designs used by these people to create your design, which can be further embellished with hand stitching.

We will supply all the felt making materials

You will need to bring along:

• An old towel, a bar of soap
• A plastic Tupperware (bowl or ice cream tub side)
• A waterproof/plastic bag and an apron
