Foundation Award in Accounting Software (AAT) - Level 2
You'll learn practical skills from using accounting software, entering accounting transactions and producing a range of reports.

Who Is This Course For?
Anyone interested in working in a finance-related job and who already has a basic level of IT skill. The course is not suitable for complete IT beginners.
Do I Need Any Prior Knowledge, Skills Or Qualifications?
You must have:
- computer skills to a good Level 1 standard
- have English and maths to at least level 2 standard
- AAT Access Award in Accounting Software Level 1 (using Sage) or the equivalent Sage skills prior to the start of the course
- a working knowledge of our systems (email, Moodle, eTrackr), which you will learn on the short introductory course Become A Digital Learner

Will I Gain Any Qualifications?
Yes, Foundation Award in Accounting Software (AAT).
Training Course Content
- Set up accounting software
- Process sales and purchase transactions
- Perform bank and cash transactions
- Perform period end routine tasks
- Produce reports
Course delivery details
This course consists of 45 guided learning hours, at 3-5 hours per week.
Continuing Studies
What could this course lead to?
The skills developed will give a solid base from which to seek employment with greater confidence or progress to the next level of learning. The skills developed could lead to employment as a clerical assistant, trainee bookkeeper, accounts clerk, finance assistant or administrator. Alternatively, you could continue your studies at a higher level of AAT qualifications.
