Course description
Overview
In this course you will gain a thorough knowledge of the key stages in a residential conveyancing transaction for both the buyer’s and seller’s conveyancer. You will be introduced to transactional documentation and amendments. Through case material you will gain an understanding of the key characteristics of a residential lease and appreciate the additional requirements for the conveyancer in residential leasehold transactions.

This course will be of benefit to trainee and junior solicitors along with conveyancers, legal executives and fee earners new to this area of practice.

By the end of the course the delegates will be able to:
- understand the key stages in a residential conveyancing transaction
- recognise the key protocol documentation in a residential transaction and common amendments
- understand the key characteristics of a residential leas and the additional requirements for the conveyancer in leasehold transactions
