Overview
The course looks at the nature of UK private equity transactions (in particular management buyouts) including their structure, necessary documentation, considerations for the management team, finance options and exit routes. Practical group exercises together with feedback are used throughout, including example extracts of key legal documentation.

This course is an introductory course suited to those with little or no experience of advising on UK private equity transactions. You will examine the key considerations surrounding buyouts in the UK as well as gaining an understanding of how UK funds are structured and how they operate.
