The NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management delivers the essential knowledge needed to minimise fire risks, comply with UK fire legislation and protect people in the event of a fire.
This highly practical 2-week course responds to the legal duty of employees with fire safety responsibilities to contribute to fire risk assessments as well as fire safety control measures. Led by highly experienced instructors, the interactive training and practical assessment will thus help delegates develop a key understanding of:
- the principles of fire and explosion
- fire causes and prevention
- fire protection in buildings
- safeguarding people in the event of a fire
By the end of the training, participants will possess the comprehensive fire health & safety knowledge needed to manage fire safety and undertake effective fire risk assessments in most low-risk environments.
