NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety
The NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety is a leading industry qualification designed to equip delegates with the competence to launch a successful international career in health & safety.
A globally renowned qualification, it is ideal for employees of large companies working outside of the UK, as well as multinationals looking to adapt international standards to local needs. With this in mind, the two-week programme doesn't refer to specific legal frameworks, bur rather focuses on international standards such as the code set by the International Labour Organization (ILO). In addition, it places great emphasis on the practical, real-world aspects of health & safety that will help delegates make a tangible difference in the work place.
The programme consists of three units covering a broad range of areas including occupational health, risk management and promoting a health & safety culture. Delegates will have to complete 2 written and 1 practical assignment in order to be awarded the Certificate.
The British Safety Council also offers a 100% online version of this course for delegates who are unable to attend the public course.
