Acting for a Buyer on a New Build: Pitfalls and Tips - Intermediate Training Course
This training course provides buyer's solicitors with practical tools and techniques for managing the high volume of paperwork coming in from new development projects. The lessons learnt in this course will help you streamline your paperwork management processes and better manage new development projects and relationships with buyers and developers.
The course takes a highly practical approach and will review common documents and statutory frameworks for new developments, along with practical guidance on dealing with each scenario. Upon completion of the course, you will have confidence in all key areas and an understanding of best practice in new build management.
Suitability - Who should attend?
This training course is ideal for residential practitioners with all levels of experience. For more junior practitioners, the course will provide an overview of common issues related to acting for a buy on new builds.

- S38, S104 and s 106 Agreements- how is my client affected?
- NHBC and similar schemes- what do I need to do?
- CML requirements- what do I need to report?
- Planning- what is CIL and will it affect my client?
- Covenants and restrictions- ensuring they affect the Property?
- What do I tell the client?
The cost of this course varies between member and non-members:
- Package price: £99 + VAT per delegate
- Member price: £150 + VAT per delegate
- Non-member price: £300 + VAT per delegate
