Conveyancing for Paralegals - 1 day training course - 6 CPD hours

This foundation-level course in Conveyancing enables paralegals and secretarial staff to carry out their attributions as part of a residential property law division. This highly practical training programme designed by Central Law Training aimed at support staff covers the ongoing training requirements of the Conveyancing Quality Scheme.

By encouraging your legal staff to complete this training programme, your firm will improve its risk management profile in relation to residential conveyancing.

This training course is suitable for paralegal and secretarial staff who work in residential conveyancing, and who wish to learn more about the process and how to respond to common enquiries and search results. The course will also assist busy residential conveyancing team members who wishes to progress, or act as a useful introduction to conveyancing or a refresher for someone returning to this area of work.

This course is accredited by CPD Standards Office and is valued at 5 hours of CPD.

Training Course Content

The focus of the day will be on small group work using case studies where delegates will:

  • Consider an overview of the conveyancing process and the implications of all key stages
  • Consider where the delegate's own work fits into the conveyancing process
  • Investigate a registered title and draft the contract of sale
  • Consider why different searches are carried out and how to respond to the most common search results

Delegates will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the day.

The course is supported by clear flowcharts of the residential conveyancing process, explanatory notes and a set of the completed forms.

  • Non-member price: £475 + VAT per delegate
