Fire Risk Assessment
What are the aims of the course?
This course is designed to provide participants with the required knowledge and skills to carry out effective Fire Risk Assessments. The course covers the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 with particular emphasis on the role of the ‘responsible person’, their requirement to produce a fire risk assessment and ensure their staff are adequately trained.
This workshop covers:
- Requirement of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
- Role of the ‘Responsible Person’Knowledge to conduct a Fire Risk Assessment
- Fire Safety Features
- Where to access and how to use detailed fire safety technical guidance
What will I achieve?
Previous experience of Fire Risk Assessments is not required. Candidates will be shown a step-by-step process for conducting Fire Risk Assessments and given the opportunity to use this process to carry out a Fire Risk Assessment under guidance.

This course is suitable for anyone who is responsible for carrying out the Fire Risk Assessment at their premises, particularly those identified as the ‘responsible person’ in their workplace.

A Certificate of Attendance from Centre for Assessment Ltd is issued up to 8 weeks after course completion.
