Through studying the Discover Mindfulness Course and practising the techniques taught, you will become more aware of the moment that you are living in, and refrain from judging yourself or your actions harshly. You will be able to dispassionately observe yourself and your responses, both emotional and bodily, and take the time to think and react accordingly.
Although its a hard habit to break, this course will guide you step-by-step through retraining your behaviour, to free yourself from being a slave to your own thoughts and emotions. These techniques are so powerful that more and more business are having their staff trained in mindfulness so that they are more positive in their work and life and therefore become more productive.
Mindfulness is a holistic therapy, considering the whole being mind, body, and spirit, the techniques of which can be used as a practical approach to dealing with feelings of anguish. However, to get even more from the practice, the course talks you through seeing yourself as a spiritual being and the additional practices you can include in your daily routine, to bring yourself further peace, such as partaking in meditation, yoga or tai chi.
