The AgilePM accredited training course has been developed in response to the increasing complexity and unpredictability of modern business environments, which have made it crucial for project management teams to be highly responsive while maintaining both control and reliability.
The Agile Project Management Foundation & Practitioner course is a globally recognised qualification accredited by APMG International, designed precisely to provide a practical understanding of Agile Project Management and how it can be applied in working environments.
Delegates are provided with a set of invaluable skills and insights, covering the following key topics:
- laying the groundwork for effective Agile projects
- managing and delivering flexible Agile projects
- the specific management styles needed to manage Agile projects with respect to "traditional" projects
- the relationship between Agile and other project management methods such as PRINCE2®
The AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner certification takes the principles of the DSDM Agile Project Framework and shows how these can be applied to achieve an ideal balance between the standards, rigour and visibility needed for good project management, and the fast pace, change and empowerment provided by Agile.
In addition, it allows candidates to certify their newly acquired skills by preparing them for the Agile Foundation and Practitioner exams, which are taken on the 2nd and 4th days of the training respectively.

It is designed for those looking to gain practical skills in the collaborative and flexible Agile approach, as well as an official qualification accredited by a recognised professional body.
Pre-requisites
There are no pre-requisites for taking this course, however, to progress to the Practitioner level you need to have passed the Foundation exam.
Outcome / Qualification etc.
There are 2 levels to this qualification, Foundation and Practitioner.
The first 2 days cover the syllabus and exam for the Foundation level.
AgilePM Foundation level exam
- Multiple-choice format and closed book
- 40 minutes duration, with 50 questions
- Pass mark 50%
- Takes place on the morning of the second day.
You need to have achieved the Foundation level certification to go on to the Practitioner level certification.
Candidates who move on to Practitioner level will build on the knowledge gained at the Foundation level, working towards taking the Practitioner exam on the afternoon of the 4th day. By this time candidates will have had an opportunity to tackle sample exam questions and revisit any areas of the syllabus where they had queries.
AgilePM Practitioner level exam
- Multiple-choice format and open book
- 2.5 hours duration, with 80 questions
- Pass mark 50%
- Takes place on the morning of the fourth day.
