Construction Programmes: Managing Time and Stakeholders
Without knowledge of the importance of programme management from cradle to grave a construction project could be doomed to failure with all its associated collateral damage. The course will take attendees on a journey from project concept, contract execution, construction and completion. You will gain an understanding of the importance of programme management and will focus on best practice for:
- The project concept programme
- The design programme
- The deliverables programme
- The procurement programme
- The construction programme
- The importance of the completion and handover programme
We will also assess the inter- dependency of all of the above programmes and how together they can be incorporated into a master programme to proactively manage a successful construction project.
In summary you will walk away with a greater understanding of the importance of “best practice” in programme management which will also enable you to understand and manage your commercial and operational expectations within the current suite of the most commonly used construction contracts.
