Time Inc.

Time Inc’s employees came to City Academy’s Learning & Development team with a diverse set of skill requirements. Employees from various departments in the company are required to deliver comprehensive presentations to clients and internal stakeholders. During an initial consultation Time Inc. and City Academy identified two objectives for the workshop: 

- To develop core public speaking skills.
- To rehearse real-life content. 

City Academy tailored a session that explored skills including managing nerves, communicating a message with clarity and connecting with an audience. Each participant submitted one slide of content prior to the session and prepared a short presentation.

Presentation Skills

The course took the form of a three-hour workshop at Time Inc's London office in Bermondsey; staff received individual feedback in session and so had the opportunity to learn from the tutor as well as one another.
