Course description
Managing Data Subject Rights (Live, Online)
Find out about data subject rights under the GDPR. You will learn what the rights are, with a particular focus on Subject Access Requests (Right of Access).
Find out when the rights apply, when there are exemptions, how you should respond and what the implications are for the management of personal data.
Since the introduction of the GDPR in 2018 some sectors have seen an explosion of data subject requests - very often these are clearly from people who want to cause trouble. If you get your response wrong this can become a nightmare. This course is based on an understanding of the relevant law together with our experience at Computer Law Training of supporting clients dealing with requests.
Course numbers are limited to eight and delivery will be through the Zoom platform. Attendees will be expected to use a webcam. This will allow a high level of interaction with the trainer.
*We often find that what people really want is not the course but some online consultancy to resolve issues they have. If this is of interest please get in touch.*
