Your business’s inventory is one of its most important assets.  It needs to be managed well: your investment is frozen for as long as you hold stock on site, not to mention the added costs of storage, tracking and insurance.
Mismanaged inventories can create significant financial problems, and can seriously damage your relationships with your customers.
Effective managers take a three-dimensional approach.  They align the timescales affecting delivery and transfer; they determine optimum levels of buffer stock; and they keep accurate records. 
This stimulating course delivers the tools and techniques to manage inventory to global standards of best practice.  It is built around a series of case studies and simulations applicable to all industrial sectors.

We have designed this course for all managers with a stake in the supply chain, including senior supervisors, stores managers and stores superintendents.  It will be useful also for anyone in line for promotion to such roles and for graduates on rapid development routes.
