Introduction to Contract Management

Contracts are easy to manage if they are appropriate for the circumstances and are being delivered by the right contractor, but they do not run themselves. Contracts need to be set up correctly and then managed in a proactive environment.

In the busy world in which organisations are trying to get more from less, many organisations are contracting out services which traditional were done in house. This is in the hope that the services can be provided cost effectively whilst meeting their objectives.

Unfortunately the contracting out activity/process is sometime left to inexperienced personnel who have little knowledge of the process.

This 3 day course follows the contract cycle from “need to close out” and is recommended for personnel from all parts of the organisation who find themselves thrown in at the deep end.

This course will benefit anyone;  manager or employee who needs to gain a better understanding of the fundamentals of Contract Management. it is ideal for employees and graduates who may be new into a contracting team, or very experienced people who would welcome a refresher on the key areas of managing contracts.  It will be valuable for SME's and also for nominees from larger organisations and businesses.

This course provides participants with:
