Management is a discipline in its own right. Yet all too often successful professionals such as accountants, lawyers and engineers are promoted to managerial positions without possessing any expertise in the discipline of "Management".

This course is intended to instill the key skills in managers and supervisors so that are better prepared to meet the daily challenges and demands of being a manager.  The management of people is a critical aspect of being a manager and without understanding the fundamentals of how to effectively manage people, life for such managers will always be difficult.

Professionals like engineers are excellent when it involves systems, processes and logic - but when these elements are intergrated with the people dimension, it literally takes on a whole new meaning.  This course is designed to open the box on these management principles so that the manager is able to embrace and realise high performances in such circumstances.
