Counselling and Psychotherapy - QLS Level 4 Course - 120 hours of self study
This Counselling and Psychotherapy - Level 4 Course is designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of what a Counsellor does, and to give them a range of skills to successfully help those in need, whether acquaintances, relatives, work colleagues or clients.
The distance learning training programme covers a broad range of topics including:
- listening skills
- crisis mediation
- stress
- depression
- bereavement
- alcohol, drug & substance abuse
Although Counsellors do not currently require any official qualifications to practice, this course will help students prove their skill level to employers, becoming more attractive candidates but also improving their own confidence in approaching a counselling role.
