Working with Local Government
Through this one-day course from Dods Training participants will gain a firm understanding of the structure and functions of local government.
Local government in the UK is complex, with various structures and styles of operation existing within the multitude of councils that provide local public services. In addition, the way councils operate and work with the private sector has transformed due to ongoing budget cuts, so it has never been more important to thoroughly understand the best ways to work with local government.
This workshop will enable participants to develop a solid understanding of the functions and cultures of local authorities, enabling them to better work with, influence, and provide services to local government.
