What does this programme involve?
The aim of the course is to introduce students to some of the techniques that could be used to create bridal hair styles and bridal makeup, giving tips on the best methods to achieve results.
Part 1: This involves a simple demonstration on a model followed by a hands-on practice of pinning hair into the style chosen. A number of hairstyles may be created using backcombing and tonging techniques to create the desired height.
Part 2: This section of the course offers students the opportunity to discuss and practice simple makeup application for a wedding party.
A college certificate will be issued on successful completion of the course.
How is the programme taught and assessed?
- The course is a practical and active workshop taught through demonstrations and hands-on practice with a model. Handouts will also be provided to keep for future reference.

- There is the opportunity for students to enrol on other hair and beauty courses offered within the college.
