The A-level builds on the course content of the Economics GCSE, but it is not necessary to have this qualification before undertaking the A-level. Basic English reading and writing skills are required.
This course is openly available to anyone wishing to learn more about Economics and would like to take part in a highly rewarding home study course. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and study further, so we try to keep our entry requirements to a minimum.
You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 24 months from initial registration with full tutor support.

Both AS and A2 level courses and examinations must be successfully completed to gain a full A level.

The A' Level Economics is divided into four comprehensive modules. Each module of the course corresponds to the examination unit. The lessons have been arranged to follow the syllabus and to provide for ease of understanding and topic coverage so may be of different length and difficulty.
Unit 1 has more theory and diagrams and you might wish to start on Unit 2 at the same time and work in parallel. Unit 3 and Unit 4 are both quite different topics and you might enjoy studying them in parallel.
