Level 2: Carbon Management Plans
This online course provides an overview of carbon management planning, which is the fundamental step in any organisation’s carbon management process aiming to improve environmental effectiveness. On this course, you will learn how to undertake a carbon footprint calculation, the key requirements of mandatory carbon reporting and the principles of carbon mitigation and carbon offsetting.
This course is self-paced and can be started at any time.
Suitability - Who should attend?
This course is recommended for those with 1-2 years' experience in energy management. Although there are no official prerequisites, it is recommended that you have at least A level maths or equivalent.

CPD hours: 10
Successful completion of this course results in the EI Level 2 Certificate in Carbon management plans.
This course also forms one of the modules of the EI's longer Level 2: Energy Management Professional course and qualification.
